Lisa Viola Setterberg founded qeenew in 2022 alongside her work as a designer. The brand’s mission is to create unique garments made entirely from 100% reused textiles – such as curtains, tablecloths, and bed linens.
All materials are washed, pre-shrunk, and carefully inspected. Any stains or holes are either removed or cut away before the fabric is sewn together. By transforming these textiles and placing them in a new context, qeenew adds value and extends their lifespan.
Every garment and accessory is made as a one-off piece, meaning you as a customer get to wear something truly unique – crafted in Sweden with care for both people and planet.
qeenew is based at Kvarntorpsvägen 5 in Sjuntorp, housed in a former yarn spinning mill from the 19th century. The historic industrial setting reflects the brand’s values of transformation, craftsmanship, and giving materials a new life. The studio functions as both a workspace and a creative environment where past and present meet through circular design.
